Triumph Music Festival 2024

 Festival is open for instrumentalists, vocalists, chamber and piano ensembles, and composers.

Prizes

  • I (Gold) & II (Silver) Prizes: Diploma, Medal, Trophy, and a performance at the winners concert at the Academy of Music Ballroom, Kimmel Cultural Campus, 240 S Broad Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19102. The date of the performance: Saturday, September 28, 2024.

  • III (Bronze) Prize: Diploma, Medal, Trophy, and a performance at the winners concert at the Ethical Society Hall, Philadelphia, PA. The date of the performance: TBA.

How to apply

  • Find an application form at the bottom of the home page, fill it out, and submit it either by mail or electronically. Please include a $100 application fee (if you are a soloist), or a $80 application fee (if you are a member of an ensemble), which could be paid through PayPal on the same page.  

 

  • Submit a high-quality video recording (YouTube link).

  • The competition piece has to be memorized. Chamber music is recommended to play with the music score. If selection of the music exceeds 6 minutes the additional fee of $50 will be applied.

 

Deadline for application submission is extended through August 25, 2024.

Concert fee

Concert fee (which is not an application fee) will be paid by winners after the results of the auditions are announced. All fees are non-refundable.

Gold and Silver levels concert fee:

  • Solo performance: $250

  • Ensemble performance: $150 (for each ensemble member)

     Bronze level concert fee:

  • Solo performance: $150

  • Ensemble performance: $70 (for each ensemble member)

  The package includes:

  • Gold and Silver levels: Awards (Medal, Diploma, and Trophy), 3 complementary tickets, and 3 digital pictures. 

  • Bronze level: Awards (Medal, Diploma, and Trophy), 3 complementary tickets and 3 digital pictures

Competition age divisions

  • Division I: Ages 5-9 (Young Musicians)

  • Division II: Ages 10-13 (Junior)

  • Division III: Ages 14-17 (Intermediate)

  • Division IV: Ages 18-21 (Advanced)

  • Division V: Ages 22-33 (Professional)

  • Division VI: Ages 30 and older (Outstanding Amateurs)

Repertoire

One music selection by any classical composer (no longer than 6 minutes). Participants from Division are allowed to perform up to 3 selections (1-minute pieces).
